Hello,
I have a female (I think) Umbrella Cockatoo for sale. I've had her about a year. I bought a brand new cage for her for $250. Lots of new toys, food, training tapes I paid $200 for, etc. I'm selling her for $1000 with everything. I recently lost my job, and am going to school and don't have enough time to spend with her anymore. She is beautiful, not a plucker. She will squawk if you are not paying enough attention to her. The woman I got her from said she was about 13 yrs. old. She does say a few phrases, and will lay against you, look up at you and cluck. She gets along fine with me and my 14 yr. old daughter. She tries to act like the boss with our Pomeranian, but has never bit her. She did nip at us within the first week we got her, but not after that. She comes from a quiet home, and is not used to lots of noise and activity. She is very sweet and loves other birds. She loves noodles, mac and cheese, chicken, fish, eggs, etc. along with her regular bird food. She is not really messy, not the type to throw out her food or use the bathroom outside of her cage much. We love her, but just can't spend the time we need to with her. Her name is Beebs. She will say Hello, Hi Beebs, Whatcha doin'?, How ya doin'?, Mama, whistles like a very small songbird, and babbles a lot. She will dance and bop up and down to music. If I had more time and money I would not be selling her, but unfortunately the economy has struck its ugly head in my direction. I live in OH. She would have to be picked up, with Cash Only. I want to find her a forever home, one with someone who's had large bird experience if at all possible.
