lol, I know what you mean. I can imagine how many hours you spend caring for all the babes you have. Although, what's one more bird? j/k I refuse to have a male zon since I have a femle. I'm not calling but I thought it would be great if someone from here called.

Yes, they would. I might have to have one if they had a girl. Maybe Mel wouldn't notice the difference between Blossom and another blue front. I could tell him I only have one. Think that would work? lol

I am seriously in love with BFA's, but seriously afraid of all 'hot three' birds. So, I will admire their beauty from afar...

I hear everyone talk about the 'hot 3' which are those? Just so I make sure to admire them from afar too!

I'm guessing Blue front amazons, Double yellow headed amazons and. . . yellow naped?

I fell in love with my uncles BFA (unknown sex) before i'd ever heard of the 'hot three'.. And Blue's a SWEETIE.. except for the cage aggressiveness, lol. But he's only aggressive to some people if they stick their hand out to him while he's in his cage - once you get him out he's SUCH a sweet bird! He even let me flip him over on his back one of the first few times i was playing with him!

I think they are unfairly labeled. I have talked to several people who have mature yellow napes, blue fronts, and double yellows heads who have no issues or very few. Plus, 99% of the time, you get a warning. They let you know what they think of you. They aren't like some species who go from cuddles to bites in less than a second. They are super easy to read. Don't let people scare you away from one if you really want one.
Jag-Toby (gcc) is like a tiny bfa in my opinion. He's bossy, demanding, likes getting his own way, and a total riot. If you like Rayne, I think you would like zons. They aren't s nippy as gcc though. Just my opinion.
