I wish the owner wasn't asking such a high price. Not that I am in a position to get another bird but it would make finding a great home for her easier. I couldn't even tell she was missing a leg until I read it in the ad.

Just make an offer. See what happens. Or wait and see how long the ad is posted, then make a low offer. I've had people give birds to me when no one would pay and they couldn't find a good bird loving experienced home for them.

I really can't right now. I found out I'm going to have to have surgery soon. If I had the room and wasn't having serious health problems, I would. Maybe you would be interested? I'd love to see her go to a home from here.

I hope someone will give her a good home. I don't like that he says she's scared so her kids hold her to calm her down. Rock pebblers are very gentle birds, and the cage shown in the picture is very small and on the floor, I hope that's not her cage.
