Morgan is a Harliquin Macaw who is 2 years old. She is beautiful and very intelligent. I adopted her a year ago from someone with no macaw experience. I have had 2 macaws one who passed away at 80 and and my current blue and gold Sam who is 14 so I thought I would be able to take on the challenge. Sam the blue and gold became agressive and we were doing alone time. Now Morgan has become cage agressive as well and it is very difficult to clean the cage, and take them out for play time. I think seperating them has become my only option, since I am currently in grad school and working I do not have the time I think that I need to deal with this situation properly and do not want the problem to get worse.
I am asking an adoption fee of $500 for Morgan and her cage which is a Silverado Macaw cage (HUGE) bought from foster and smith.
Morgan eats zupreem pellet diet, and FM Browns Fruit and Nut Mix along with fresh fruits, and grains. She is not a plucker, and has learnt almost every phrase that I taught her. Her only flaws are that she is missing one toe since (which she lost as a hatchling), and she over preens her tail feathers, so they are usually missing the tips.
