Question Looking to give a bird a forever home! :)

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can be on the lookout for any bird that needs a loving forever home in PA? I have small & large bird experience & time to spend w/ them. Around my area..its hard to find birds in need. If anyone can help me..I'd be greatful! Thanks for reading.

Did you try Lair of Dragons Bird Sanctuary. I filled out an application and was accepted for a female U2. Before I heard I was put in touch with an abandoned male U2 who needed a home. When I got the email from them about the female I let them know of my rescue. They were very happy for me and said they would search for another home for the u2. They are very friendly.

Thank you to those who have answered to my thread. To answer both responses at the same time. I am 22 yrs old and Lair of dragons bird sanctuary won't accept me due to not being over 25. It was a good idea..I've looked into their rescue..but no luck. I am located in Central Pa.

Have you looked at Kijiji USA Free Classifieds - Post & Search Free Classified Ads

It's like Craigslist but it seems to have WAY more parrots.
