Since you will be in the Houston area, there is a small bird expo in Webster, TX this weekend. It is a few minutes South of Houston. www.birdsandpets.com They usually have cheap toys and perches, especially large perches.

Did not need to know that! Well I will be pretty busy on Saturday, but maybe Sunday I will go by there. I always pick up something or other!

I just donated a little something for Rainbow. She looks lie a sweet girl. I wish there was something more I could do for all the neglected birds out there.

Thanks so much everyone. We only have $120 left to raise for Rainbow!

We're on our way. We are coming through tx with about 7 hours to go. The birds are doing fine, except that u2 tj seems a little too stressed for my comfort. We will be thankful to get him back into a real cage soon. Naughty sydney has taken the trip really well other than a little car sickness this am. She gave me some sugar at the gas station. G2 chicky enjoyed greeting the dawn this am and is currently calling out to the setting sun. She likes the radio. Shugy wants out of his carrier but is being patient. Ziggy is just going with the flow. I got an update on rainbow - she was having a problem with air in her crop. It sounded like yeast or a partial impaction. A little apple cidar vinegar and some soft foods has done her wonders. I'm looking forward to meeting the sweety soon. Will keep everyone updated on the events of the weekend.
