How amazing it would be to be able to see a sight like that in your own garden! I wonder - how close will wild gallahs allow you to get to them? Are they often willing to establish close contact with humans (say, in a situation where they are being fed) as some wild animals will do?

its great to live in OZ where you can see a great deal of wild birds
here are some of the hunry ones who visit our back yard & yes the Galahs are the funniest of all especially the baby ones who cant land on the bird feeders we have a mob of long billed corella s come down sometimes there is up to 30 of them & man are they noisy & our local population of rainbow lories |

Awww I dont have any pics of our wild galahs or sulfer cresteds just the rainbow lorikeets...Galah's are funny. We had a wild caught one that was passed down in the family cos she was hit by a car and couldnt fly again. I miss her she was an awesome bird! I wish we got corella's around here, they are so cool!
