Free Flighted Macaws!! Stunning Videos!

I didnt know where else to really put this - if you havent already seen them I wanted to share. While your there at You Tube - look at all of Cris Biro's vids of his birds. It is Amazing the bond that these two have with the birds. I esp. like the ones of her trying to do laundry on the line with several Macaws "helping her" and the little conures out there with them having such a good time. I would LOOOVE to be able to train my birds this way. EnJOY!!

I've read up on Chris Biro, and he doesn't train adults... he starts out with young chicks and weans them. As he weans the chicks he trains them indoors, then later outdoors.

He recommends only training young birds as adults can be harder (although not impossible).

I suggest taking a look at his website

That's awesome! I can't help but to be in aww when watching free flighted exotic birds. It's the most beautiful thing to me. I probably would worry myself poopless if I were to ever try, even though Clover comes to me whenever he's called but bravo to Chris Biro. That was a spectacular show and I applaude his dedication!

You know one of my dreams is to go to the Amazon and see the Macaws in the wild. there is tours you can do, just getting to where it is, is the problem..LOL

My Macaw is full flighted, my husband does not want to clip his wings. He flies around the house when he wants. Hopefully this summer we'll get out patio done. we are designing it to serve partially as an aviary.

I LOVE THESE!!! it helps if your out in the country like that. my sun has free flight, but trained in the suberbs, and a local park. if my GW ever weens and comes home, she will start her free flight training, first in doors, then in the yard, then in the park. its alot like falconry, but with out the hood.

those desert videos made me nervous. i live in utah, and there are hawks, falcons, and huge golden, and bald eagles in moab, and around those towers.

the little dog, in the laundry video, looked a little intimidated. he didnt move around much.
