Rose Breasted Grosbeak!!!!

For the past 2 days there has been a male rose breasted grosbeak at our feeder. They - rather he - have come every year for anywhere from 1 day to over a week. It started about ... 4 or 5 yrs ago when my youngest brother saw an unusual bird, came tearing into the house calling for a bird book & the male came every day for a week. On the 7th day a female joined him. I know we're very fortunate to get them to come to our feeder.

Oh yeah, we also live IN Indianapolis.

Update - 2 days after I posted the male left, probably because my brother & I forgot to put any more sunflower seed in the feeder. Anyway, we have the memories of that gorgeous bird.
