Fasinating Bird

Yesterday I went to the 4 K Farms and while I was at one of the pastures Sarah told me to look at a bird that was out in the field about 5 feet away from us. Well I did and the bird started to do something really strange it started giving out a warning scream and than it ran and acted like its wing was broken. I got fasinated and just kept moving closer to her and the more I got near the more she did it. Then Sarah told me to watch out that the nest was under the e-fence and sure enough it was about a foot away from were I was standing. She had four eggs that were grayish and speckled. I left her alone and plan to take some pictures tomorrow and post them up here.

Yep, pretty common for some wild birds to act as if injured to try and get predators (that being you, too) away from the nest.
