Need help with Baby chikadee

ok so my roomate rescued a baby chikadee last week from drowning in a puddle an wev been handfeeding it for the past week but it does have all its feathers and can fly just wont eat the seeds yet i gave him some grapes n strawberry to see if he would eat them and he did pick at them but not enough to actually be full, and since these wont really be available for him when hes released what should i wean him with so that he will have the best chance of surviving in the wild? (p.s. im in NC so what do they eat here in this area?)
