Starlite Trail birding walk/Codroy Valley Newfoundland

Had a lovely evening walk up Starlite Mountain this evening with a couple very experienced birders that lent their expertise to me by identifying birdsongs...it was wonderful. No wind, perfect temperatures and clear skies made it pretty much the perfect atmosphere for really hearing and seeing the birds. The view at the top of the mountain wasn't too shabby either!

Here's a short list of what we saw:

Veery--WOW is all I can say. What a neat call!!!
Ovenbird
Yellow-Bellied Flycatcher
Swainson's Thrush
Northern Waterthrush
Least Flycatcher
Blue-Headed Vireo
Northern Flicker
Blackpoll Warbler
Black Throated Green Warbler
Wilson's Warbler
American Redstart
Yellow Warbler
Fox Sparrow
