This must be the day the birds fly south

I had noticed a few years ago one day in Fall and one day in the Spring there is very loud chatter from the trees in my neighborhood. I am guessing they are in route south since it's Fall here in Pennsylvania.

Has anyone else in the northern states our countries ever noticed the same thing?

Depends on the birds. The starlings are starting to really line up on the wires as they do before they leave. I saw an Orial (sp?) and i usually only see one or two in the spring and then again in the fall whilst they pass thru. The hummingbirds really need to be fed now to prep them for the LOOOONG journey to south america and the Turkey Vultures dont leave until after a few freezes.

Yep, it depends on the species.
There was a video on CNN yesterday from someone in Texas with a feeder full of Hummers....
I haven't seen a Robin around here for at least a week.

Psssssst, Lori (Huntress), it's spelled "Oriole".
