know anything about pigeons? please help
hubby found a baby pigeon, looks like the one in the pic, any advice on how to take care of her???
please help

A good rule of thumb for ANY baby bird you come across -- if it has enough feathers to retain its own body heat, and it can move around on its own, LEAVE IT (or put it back right where you found it if you already took it). Most birds (particularly songbirds) leave the nest before they can fly, since remaining in the nest leaves them vulnerable to predators. The baby hasn't been abandoned -- its parents are nearby with food, waiting for you to leave!
And if it is too young to be out of the nest, and you can't figure out where it fell from, call your local vet or human society and ask if they can get you in touch with a wildlife rehabilitator. Raising a wild bird is a lot more involved than just feeding it and then dumping it into the wild to fend for itself (not to mention illegal in most cases without a permit).
