bald eagle camera

I have heard of a website that has a camera in a bald eagles nest and you can watch the birds come and go and can even watch the eggs hatch. I heard it was pretty neat but I wanted to see if any of you have tried it and what you thought of it?

Thanks,

It's been really neat to see the chick grow. There is a message on the website:

"The eaglet has "fowled" the camera lens again - this time completely. Until the Spring rains come and clean the lens we'll only have the Wide Angle on"

We have one here locally. There were 3 eaglets. We have watched them grow. As of last week they have all fledged but they do still return to the nest periodically throughout the day to rest and eat what they have caught. Do not see much of the parents since the last chick fledged last Thursday morning. Here is the link:

WVEC.com Eagle Cam

There is a spider web on the camera. You will see the chicks return (they have gotten huge) there are also videos to the left of the screen. News reports, when they banded them and put the transmitter on the female. They do alot of zooming in during the day to check them out especially the female with the transmitter on. It has been an amazing 3 months watching it all. I can't wait until next year.

There is a beautiful shot of them back in the tree right now. Sun is going down. The cameraman is zooming in on them.
They are beautiful!

He fell, I believe there is a video you can watch. He did fall, he held on for a few minutes with his beak until he finally let go. They held him in over-night. The put him back in the nest the following morning shortly after the first eaglet fledged.
