Some of the babie birdies we have transported
I just thought I'd share some pics of the baby birdies we have transported in the past. We volunteer for a local wildlife rehab, and on Fridays we transport babies and injured birds from a vet's office that is close to our house, out to a rehab that is just south of Dallas. This time of year we usually have at least 15 babies to transport every Friday....sometimes more.
baby house finch from yesterday...his nest was in someones front door wreath and the mother had abandoned him, or gotten hurt or something  juvenile yellow crested night heron  baby mallard who was so cute he just had to ride there in my hand!  baby quaker who we did not transport, but we have wild ones here, and they take them to the wildlife rehab when the power co. cuts back the nests  baby screech owl  whipoorwill
