Well, living in Michigan and having never traveled out of the midwest, I've never seen a wild parrot. But I would love to go see some wild parrots in South America and Australia some day.

There is a place near my house where you can hand feed crimson rosellas and sulphur crested cockatoos if anyone is interested on a trip up there! ;)

Well we've had something early this morning before we got up something visited, it left a poo under the power wire. It's a big poo compared to the ones we usually see, about one and a half inches by a half inch across, the food portion is dark brown nearly black....maybe a meat eater...we have had peregrine falcons and hobbys here in the past....maybe it was one of them.

I see quaker parrots all the time there are about seven that are always around. and one morning i saw four nanday conures(noisy little things:O)

I will be in San Blas, Nayarit Mexico in January. While there I hope to see the following species of parrots- Military Macaws, Mexican Green Parrotlets, and Orange-Fronted/Half-Moon Conures.
