Marvelous Bird Cages

Recently, I notice that many sites that sell bird cages offer a new bird cages brand Marvelous Cages. They offer for sale 9-10 models.
I’m in love and impressive of their design. But I’ve never seen these bird cages live in the local PetStore.
Has anyone heard of these? Does anyone have one? Are they nice? What’s about quality, design, company or something! Thank’s friends.
Please share your impressions. In particular: I chose this cage:
Marvelous Jasmine Bird Cage - Presented by BirdsComfort.comfor my three 3 finches.

I'm sorry but i absolutely detest round cages (and from what i've read, so do birds)
I'd go for a 28"-ish long conventional cage.

I have seen these cages at my local shop. They appear to be of very good quality and very interesting designs. As long as the bar spacing is O.K. I would think it would make a great cage for finches. I don't know what size round cage they have but it looks good. I think the bowl design was good for changing food and water without worrying about an escape but don't quote me on that. I will check it out if I go to the store later.

I considered a rectangular one for Annie (that she kind of liked) but it didn't have a playtop and she likes her playtop cage so I think I will be going with a Kings Cage for her.

Although round cages are not always recommended for parrots I believe they are fine for finches. If anyone else has heard different feel free to correct me.

I'm really not in the position to correct anyone :)
It's just based on personal preference and stuff i read (can't remember source atm)
Can't really see the difference between finches and parrots in this regard though?

NO, NO, NO to round cages! For ANY bird!

Quote:
Although round cages are available, many people have expressed concerns that round cages are psychologically bad for birds. It is believed that birds are uncomfortable without a side and/or corner to perch next to and spend a lot of time going in circles around the cage searching for a "secure" resting place.

Quote:
Apart from this, it has to be said that round cages are a bad idea because, even if they look spacious from the outside, the occupant has no room to leap from perch to perch. The roomy appearance of tall, round cages is usually deceptive. This is not so much my own, obstinate opinion, as established advice, offered by many bird writers and bird lovers before me. In fact, the owner of one of my local pet shops refused to stock any round bird cages at all because she believed they sent birds mad.

Quote:
Round cages appear as solid walls and have no safe corners where the lovebirds can hide. This is actually true to for all birds.

For the sake of your bird's sanity, please don't put it in a round cage

I agree, no round cages. What about this cage? HQ Flight Bird Cage - Presented by BirdsComfort.com
This will be a great size for the birds. If you get it in a darker colour, you can see the birds better too. I don't like white cages. You could also add a few more finches to the cage!!

what most are saying is they feel round cages are usually taller than wide and birds are better with more width than height for flight. And that round cages do not offer a secure corner to hide in but thats all in cage placement and what you put inside. Wide cages are out for me for the simple reason that most are designed for human appeal and not bird function although I have seen one very large round parrot cage that I would have used for patio cage but it was huge and wider than norm. It was like six feet tall and four feet wide round dome.
Thats said for the same price the Varanda is the better choice although for finches I would shop for a wider cage still
