Day 5 of Mackie's New Attitude!

I don't think we have 5 days in a row of peace and happiness... at least not since his setback in October.

I probably won't post to this blog as much, unless there is a major change... since I am sure everyone is pretty bored of this by now...

Anyway... all in all, I am pretty pleased with Mackie's progress. AviTech's products work, even if they don't work as quickly as...

Day 3 of Mackie's New Attitude! (notice the NEW countdown?)

Yup! Day 3! He's never gone 3 days in a row with no "meltdowns"... NO swearing! NO temper tantrums! NO physical attacks! In fact, he's beeing sweet, gentle, and CALM!

We have moved Mackie's cage. He is now with Merlin and Julio. He actually seems happier. He's been really calm. I don't think he liked being in his own bedroom at all. This morning, he and Merlin were sitting beside each other (on their own stands) for about 2 hours... chattering away to each other. Mackie is now on his downstairs stand (the big one, with ALL the "bells and whistles") and that is kept him occupied for a couple of...

Mackie is not doing well at all. The last 2 days have been he** on earth here. VERY aggressive. Attacking me every chance he gets... and he means to do damage. He's fully "fluffed up", beak wide open, head down, wings slightly spread, eyes hooded and dark. He's PISSED. He won't let me touch him. I have resorted to a dowel and leather glove to handle him and I have to move quickly or he attacks me. He tries...
