A late thanks everyone

Sorry I am so late in thanking you guys for all the advice on the parakeet eggs, babies, splay leg etc. two actually hatched, one did not survive, the one who ended up with a splay leg. I splinted it and hand fed for two days but the baby did not survive. I guess it was too weak. The other grew into a beautiful budgie. My kids named "her" Sweetie Mae, however from the updated pics in the sexing budgie thread, I think we may have to change the name to sweetie moe, or sweetie Jay. Its becoming clear that it is actually a boy budgie....here are some pics of the baby and adopted mom dad and relatives.

Oh wow, he/she is sooooo cute! Sorry to hear that the others didn't make it. You do have one gorgeous little baby there though!

a late thanks continued

more pics first, the dad, then mom, then relatives x 2 pics, and then the cage. thanks again everyone, the birds are great fun. and the new baby ( who is now 2 months old easily, is very tame and hand trained. Just the nicest little guy.....It took me along time to get pics to you because I couldn't figure out how to download pics because my camera is 8 megapixels and a pain....and so is my computer...Sorry...thanks again all of you wonderful teachers.

Those are mighty small photos, but the birds are gorgeous nevertheless! And they've got a great cage as well! Really spoiled! And the baby is very cute! Glad that one was able to survive!
