Gracie and Ozzy.....Pics and Progress!

Well it has been 2 weeks since I brought home Gracie and Ozzy. I first believed that I was going to split them up for taming but it seemed that they needed each other. Progress is being made, Gracie will sit with me out of the cage and Ozzy needs the comfort of the cage to trust me but with time I know he will come out of the cage!! Here are some pictures that I took this morning:

I love her stance in this picture.

She loves to burrow into things, whether it be ina blanket or in your arm she will snuggle right in.

Now its Ozzy time:

He is still pretty shy but he is coming around.

Can we say OW!!!

Such a Sweety.

Wow - pretty cute stuff! - that 'splits thing' was surprising to say the least!

When you introduce your new birds to the larger flock do they stay tame? Have some lost their tameness? Are all your flock birds in one cage at this point or do you have a variety?

As of right now in the main flock I have Houdini, Kiwi, Ceaser, and Elwood tame. Dazie, Raven Jake and Skyler have lost their tameness. Now Gracie is doing great and Ozzy is starting to come around so i think by the time I introduce them to the rest of the flock I should have 6 tame and 4 untame.

As for the cage, The flock of 8 lives together in one cage, hopefully this introduction will go well, so Gracie and Ozzy can join in with no problems!!
