Conversations with Jerry - VIDEOS

Yesterday I was able to get a couple good videos of my chats with Jerry. Jerry and I tend to chat a lot when he's in his cage and I'm sitting at the computer desk. I do these chats, they're special to me.

Here we are going back and forth - my voice is annoying and I know I'm such a dork!

So did he just pick all that up from listening and repeating? Sounded like you guys were deep in conversation...lol

He's just picked things up from me talking and talking and talking to him What has really baffled me is that he puts words and phrases together on his own and they make sense. For example, I call them all sweetie or sweetheart. He especially likes making up new nicknames and such for himself and his latest is Sweet Jerry. I have never called him that but he comes out with, "Hi Sweet Jerry!" And then he'll apply it with other words and he'll say "Hi Sweet Kitty!" And he shows word association too, like if the cat walks in the room he starts talking about kitties and if I give him fresh water he'll say "Wanna drink?" They are VERY smart!

My favorite thing in one of the above videos is that at one point I say, "I love you Jerry!" and he responds, "Oh I know."
