English Budgies and American Budgies - can they get along?

Still got a question here, what if my male budgie is english and the female is american, would she get squashed???

I would not breed them...i would if u have to cross breed, go a bigger female and smaller male that way the egg size wont be to big for her and would have less chance of being egg bound thus sometimes resulting in death.
