Beautiful Female Budgie needs Loving Home

I am helping to place a female budgie, Suzy Q, into a new home due to her owner passing away. She is temporarily residing with her previous owner's daughter, who is apparently very allergic to her, and needs to place her into a new home.

Suzy Q is approximately 2 years old, fully flighted, living alone as a single budgie, and appears to be in good feather (judging only from photos thus far). At this time I do not know if she is hand tame, but I am trying to find out more details, such as tameness, diet, etc. She will come with her cage and all supplies.

She is currently located in White Lake, Michigan. Our goal is to have her placed into a new home directly, but if need be, my husband and I will be fostering her at our house, which is near Toledo, OH, until we can find her a good home.

If anyone is interested, please PM me and I will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge. Please help us find Suzy Q a loving home where she is well taken care of and cherished - my heart goes out to her for having lost her owner.

Any feedback yet Sarah? I sure hope you don't have to look too long for a good home. We have Kijiji as an ad source here but i'm not sure it operates in your area? Then there's Petfinder or Adpost.

When my brother sponsored a Vietnamese boy he bought him a Budgie as a pet. It was a great gift as the boy was so homesick & anti-social. I know it is a long shot but many communities have an outreach set up [i know the Vietnamese do] & perhaps there's a kid who needs a friend.
