If it is vomit - I would get to a vet immediately. I don't have any experience with vomiting though so I don't know specifics. Sorry I can't be of more help, but it sounds like this is something very unusual and cause for concern - I would at least get ahold of a vet over the phone and describe the symptoms.
Good luck, please let us know how he is doing. ![]() ETA one thing - my Winston does quiver his wings when he's nervous or anxious..

If it's not regurgitation, then it's probably vomitting from a fungal/bacterial infection in the crop, or otherwise. The best we can suggest is taking him to the vet, or at least CALLING one up and seeing what the a-vet thinks, and what course of action you could try taking.

Hi everyone. Well with much MUCH prayer and tears Georgie boo-bird seems to be fine now. He was throwing up his food(seeds) and shaking his slightly opened wings while being a lil puffed up... I did put some vitamin drops in his water, and thought about putting a caplet of ORNACYCLINE/TETRACYCLINE in his water to be safe...but now he is fine and eating drinking as per usual!!!!
I will be watching him very closely though. Thank you evryone for the advice.:)

keep a close eye on him though - if it is/was a bacterial infection, you might see the same symptoms again.... then i would DEFINITELY go to a vet to have him checked out

When Laker went into his Hormonal stage last September he regurgitated a lot & yes some was flung about.
If he's stopped - great. Have you checked to see if he ate anything different? One day i saw black on Rio's beak & then when i saw him gnawing away at the Mother-in-law plant i was sure the black was coming from there. Days later i saw him by the window working on the sealer that holds the glass to the rubber - its some black gooey stuff - i'm not very pleased & I can't always keep him away. He's like a bat. So far he either hasn't eaten much or it is not toxic..... |
