You could try it, there's no guarantee it will work.. but theres always that possibility. Try holding him before you let him out (after his wings are clipped of course) and make sure your bathroom is birdie-proof before! All the best

thanks. Yeah I've made sure the bath room is ok for him. I know how to hold him but I'm not so good at wing clipping. Could anyone show me a pic of what a clipped wing should look like? so I wont make any mistakes? thanks!

If it is your first time wing clipping, I HIGHLY suggest you bring your birdie to the Vet to clip the wings. The vet can also show you proper wing clipping for the next time he needs it done. I have been watching a close friend wing clip my cockatiels for a while now so it is very important to have an expert do it before you try it yourself. All the luck in the world to you and your budgie!
