I'm no expert, but I would say you have a little girl there. It (she?) has white around the nares (nose holes) and that usually means girl. Also I was told that with pied birds, which I think yours is, the females tend to have darker wings than the males. Very pretty bird! I am sorry I can't tell you what the color is.

Its a girl. Thats too plae of a blue to be male. the problem with young budgies is that girls ceres are actually very light blue with pale rings around the nares and the pale rings will spread till the cere is a tannish pink and more layers will grow during breeding which is how they become brown. Boy budgies start out purplish pink and turn blue...

From the photos, can you tell how old she may be? She is seeming to lose a lot of feathers but I was told if she was a baby she wouldn't be "molting". I am not so sure she is molting or not, but when I got her they told me she was a boy and that she was only like 3 months old. But now, heck if they thought she was a he then they probably have no clue as to when she was born.
