New flight cage for the boys!

The boys got quite an upgrade in their residence yesterday - we found a great flight cage at the bird fair and the boys have already moved in and are living it up!

YouTube - New flight cage for the budgies

The dimensions are 32 long x 21 wide x 34.5 high (at the highest part). The layout is working well so far - I wanted it to be very roomy to allow plenty of room for flight and exercise. I already took out one toy because they couldn't fly as well to a certain perch. So I'm sure I'll think of the best places to position toys while not inhibiting flight. Right now they are flying from perch to perch

It was so hard for me to come into work today, I'd much rather just sit in front of their cage all day and watch them! I'm always excited when they come out to fly and play everyday but now I'm even excited when they go back in the cage

Very nice indeed!!!
Although I know your babies LOVE their new abode ( and why wouldn't they?), I sometimes think we just spoil them so much because it makes US happy!
Not that there is anything wrong with that....part of the reason we have them is to make them happy and also because they make us happy just by their presence. Buying them great new cages or toys, etc...makes us even more happy because they are getting THE BEST treatment and you can see them enjoying themselves. What a great gift to everyone.

I wish I could send you a link but I bought it in person at a bird fair yesterday. I don't think I grabbed a card from the vendor. They had a great selection at great prices (brand new). I saw it and was sure it was the right one.

Thanks all for the lovely comments - shosh you're so right in that they make me so happy and I love doing things to make them happier. They LOVE this new cage!
