i'm not sure; hopefully someone else with more experience can answer. but, two of my brother's budgies did only lay one egg at a time. but, these eggs were broken by their cagemates, so they could have just stopped laying because conditions were not ideal to continue laying. btw, what do you plan on doing with the eggs?

cool. but, just remember to not allow the offspring to mate with their siblings (or parents for that matter :S) if they are going to be housed in the same aviary.

A normal clutch is usually 4-6 eggs, however hens can and do lay more or less than that. I had one hen who *LOVED* big clutches, that is 8-12 eggs per clutch (none were ever fertile, thankfully!)
