I think the posters who posted harsh and mean posts on your thread need to apologize to you for writing what they wrote without knowing your situation.

I also would like to say that you shouldn't get a new budgie in at least 2 more weeks untill you're sure that your other budgie is healthy. I also suggest that you get a healthy baby budgie, whether from pet store or breeder, because chances with a healthy baby budgie, you will not need a vet for years and years to come.

The posters in questions have already been talked to by the Moderation Team. There is no need to bring this up again.

We are all very passionate about our birds and others birds. Sometimes that passion rolls into a post or a thread, and then all hell breaks loose.

Everybody needs to remember that what your intentions are when you write a post, it will only be words, personaltiy or your real intentions cannot be known. Plus you don't know the situation or state of mind of the OP.

Please think, re-read your posts, and be respectfull.

Nashi, again...we are all very sorry about Sky, and hope you keep comming here to learn and grow with your birds.

Just a side note. This is not exactly correct. What may appear to be a healthy bird may in fact be a sick bird. Birds are notorious for being able to hide illness & injury in the wild from predators. They do this with us as well. The only way to know that your bird is healthy is to take it to an AVian Vet once a year for a well check. Also if anything about your bird changes, eating, pooping, activity, sleeping, feather condition..etc etc...take them to a vet ASAP. 9 out of 10 times when you notice something is wrong, it is to late.
