Since todays a Saturday so I could be home all day to keep an eye on him. But it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was actually quite funny. I removed the bottom of the cage so it wouldn't become flooded and squirted him with the sprayer (he hasn't yet learnt to trust the bath since we just haven't had enough sunny days here to warrent putting it in). It was a bit sunny over lunch time so that's when I did it. At first he was a bit confused and hopped from perch to perch as I sprayed him, then he decided that he liked it and came right over and let me pelt him with the sprayer!

He looked very very very wet and quite funny by the time I thought he was wet enough!!!
Then I brought him over to the sunny spot by the window and plonked his cage down there on the stand. The only thing was he kept moving into the shade!

Well I couldn't have that because it's only sunny for a short time and if it had gone behind a cloud he'd be stuffed. So I had to keep rotating the cage to keep him in the sun!!!!

But finally he did what he was supposed to and just sat there in the sun!

He only took about an hour to dry off!!! It's not even a very hot sun here in winter so I was very pleased
Now it's night and he's gone super fluffy and cute and I really don't think he's so itchy.
