What Color Would You Get??

I am wanting to get Flutter a friend...definitely a female because I dont want babies... she is still a baby herself. But I dont want her to be lonely, whenever she hears the birds outside she chirps away at them and looks for them....

She is a pretty little girl and I know it doesnt matter the color, but was just curious, what color would you get to go with a pretty little girl like this? Just a question for fun

I adore those white budgies with splashes of grey/black all round them. They look just soo gorgous as babies.

My budgie looks rather like yours, but mine is a boy and his front is seafoam (so has a green tinge with the blue) rather than just blue like yours but otherwise nearly identical.

I think a recessive pied or a yellow lutino would look nice with her. :) As you said though, color doesn't matter. If one stands out to you as being a nicely mannered bird then that would be the first choice.

I also thin a Yellow or white and yellow would look good with her.

Get a regular green one.

You can see, compare, and contrast the two. One is blue and one is green and they look great together.

Oh yes most definitely the color doesnt matter...well cept I dont want one identical to her so i can tell them apart LOL... I just thought it would be fun to see what others thought would look pretty with her.
I picked her because she pulled at my heart strings with her situation at the pet store. She was sick at the time and frail and the other parakeets were picking on her, one was grabbing her by the tail and throwing her across the thing they were in. They put her in the back away from the other birds and gave her medications for the diarrhea and she got better. They ended up just giving her to me because I lost both of my beta fish because of the drops they sold me. That was back at the end of February, 27th to be exact. Can't believe I have had her over 6 months already. She is still a baby, so I want to get her a playmate before she gets too much older.

I just hope her horrible experience with the other parakeets wont hinder her getting along with another one I bring in.

Well I meant the color not mattering in the sense of it doesnt have to be specific which color budgie I get to go along with Flutter. It most definitely matters that its a pretty bird to go along with my pretty girl....I think my girl is gorgeous and she has to have another one just as gorgeous to go along with her. LOL

I just didnt want folks thinking that I was wanting everybody to pick what color bird I was going to get next...I was just doing this question for fun and curiosity. My main goal when I do actually get one is to pick one that sticks out to me the way she did. One that will unmistakingly hold a place in my heart and mind that I know is meant to be with me, as she did.
