Do they like to cuddle like Too's or are they more "ill jus perch on your shoulder and talk to you nd if I feel like it Ill let you pet me"?

From my experience they are less cuddly than 'Tiels and Parrotlets to name two other small birds. I like Budgies though, fun little birds.

They're not very cuddly. They like to play though.

In my experience, most tame budgies will thoroughly enjoy snuggling up under your chin, crawling behind your neck, borrowing under your hair and preening it etc. Even my budgie Topaz (who is often afraid of people) loves a good snuggle in my hair. I have had a few babies that would love to tunnel into my clothes and up my sleeves. If you get a young one you can teach it to enjoy these activities, although mine just liked to do this naturally.

Ive never known budgies to be cuddling. But there is always that one bird out there that is the exception to the rule!

Like I said Ill love it no matter what. Im acctually not a Too person for the simple reason they are sooooo cuddle and clingy and needy. Im more of an Amizon person myself. I enjoy a bird that will jjust be happy perching and is just perfectly happy being in the same room and chirping and talkin away with you. and a bird it the BEST dance partner I have ever had (no offence to my last prom date) LoL I just miss having a bird and I do like the budgies too. Ive jus never had 1 for my own. ive always just had them in a cage all together and just watched them. I want one that will play and annoy the mess out of me :)

You have to be careful even if he is 'cuddly'. Budgies are so small, and accidents can happen in a instant.
