Albino Parakeet

My daughter just called and said someone gave her a albino parakeet (all white with red eyes). Is there anyway she can tell the age and sex of him/her? I know nothing about parakeets so am no help to her.

I belive if there is a white ring around the red of the eye it shows that it is full grown I read it in a book.

Perhaps you meant this link? Ino and recessive budgies don't have irises, so to speak. Their eyes are either completely black or completed red, depending on the mutation.
Your Budgie / Parakeet's Sex

If the budgie is over a year old and has a pink cere, it's a male.

If it's white, tan, blue, brown, it's female.
