traveling with my keet

i live in sc and im going on vacation soon , i was wonder ing if it was safe to take my keet with me, and what would be the safest, most comfortable way to do this :D

well...if it was a hamster, then u could take it with u cause thats what my friend does....but a bird might be hard....u could but he might get upset....i would say the best way 4 ur bird is to have a friend watch over him.

If you have an extra cage for him to travel in (if his excisting cage is too big), and you'll be staying at places that allow small animals then it might not be such a problem. If you do end up staying at a place that DOES NOT allow animals, you'd have to steek your budgie in. One place is like Motel 6 (I've done this a few times with my conure and cockatiel about 6 months ago).

If you can't find an easy way to take your budgie with you, then it may be best to have a friend or someone keep him while you are gone, if you do not board him at some place... Good luck!
