Lizzy's Acrylic Digs

Now that she has all her furniture in place and she is confident this is what she wants she wanted me to show off her new/used diggs that she lives in now. She says she really feels like she is a part of our lives now not looking thru the bars but when she sneezes on the glass it looks bad so mom has to clean that off

it's a great set up... i was always wondering about the acrylic cages.... birds can't see the glass, right? i don't know... it always seemed like it would be difficult for a bird to get used to... i like the fact that you have the bars on the sides

Thanks, When this cage was posted for sale and i had already bought it everyone on here said it looked like a very bad cage and I got worried. But I feel better about it now. When we first put her in it she inspected every inch of it and likes to sometimes lick the glass. Oh she knows its there and never forgets. They are so much smarter than we think sometimes. I watched my new Macaw use a leverage tool tonight that truly amazed me. He used a potato chip held in his foot to properly position and hold another piece of potato chip in his beak so he could break off tiny pieces to eat. He did it several times showing me he understood leverage completely. He did it exactly the same way every time he went to take bites.
