Here is my cage set up (pics)

Here is my cage set up for my baby peach front conure coming home in April. I am new to this so please tell me if this looks ok. I am still going to add a long boing and a couple of rope perches. Does this look right? Do I need to change anything, does anything look dangerous? Thanks

I have the same cage for my Echo but a bit bigger. It looks good but think about adding the rope perches both on the inside and outside of the cage.

I have the same cage for my sun and one for my GCC (who just passed away this weekend) :(

Remember, you will have to change out the toys every week to 2 weeks to keep them entertained. This cage is great for socialization as the top opens right up. Just be careful as alot of "stuff" gets stuck under neath the seed guard and even under the drop pan so remember to remove it frequently to clean!

Anyways, one more comment from a fellow conure owner! Leave them enough room to spread their wings and flap around..... they can be crowded!

Good luck! And those rope perches are great! They love them!

I think it looks great so far! Adding perches and toys to the outside will help with playtime too, but it looks like you have a nice variety of toys to start.

I know I am a worry wart (at least according to the s/o) but be careful with rings. One toy you have in there has three loops, which can get birdies head stuck if the right size. I usually buy rings very big (so Darwin could sit on them if he wanted) just to make sure no heads get stuck. It is hard to tell from the pic how big they are, so I don't know if it applies. :)

Good looking set up, i love that cage i think i might need to get one of those for my baby tiel (im addicted to buying cages) lol, you might want to look into getting a thicker swinf because conures love to chew thin swings, a few more toys and a xtra long rope perch to create a play area on top since dome top cages arent flat to allow a playgym to be set on top.

It looks great, and I would say outside climbing perches are needed. Also maybe a perch that goes across from front-to-back near the top part, so he can hang out there. This would go over near the sides of the cage so there will still be plenty of room in the middle to fly.

Cheddy has that cage too! I had my husband take the perches and grind irregular groves into them because they are so fat for a conure. Also use caution if you leave the hinged top open so it doesn't collapse and squish your bird. When the seed guards get pooped up,run hot water in your bathtub and let them soak 15 minutes, they will rinse clean with no scrubing.
