Question Suggestions

I am looking to get an affordable portable cage to take outside for when we are on our patio. Since he is fully flighted I would like to be able to have him outside with us and not always have him harnessed.. I need it to be small enough to bring inside when not in use and big enough to keep Echo my TAG for feeling crowded in it with toys and stuff inside it. Does anyone have any types of cages in mind that might work for me.

I use a xlarge fold up dog cage that I got from Dog.com because I got the optional floor grate for it. It folds to about 4" thin with a carry handle. I had perches cut and slotted the right size. I can hang toys and use quick loc crocks in it. Its also a great travel cage.

What do you guys think of this one

What about this one. It measures measures 30"L x 18"W x 16"H.

I found this at a local store and it is much cheaper on this web site Cages: My First Home - Large I think it would be ideal since I can have Echo in it before going outside. Since he is fully flighted I don't want to take the chance of him getting spooked as I place him in an outside cage already set up. Plus he can actually go with me as I work in my gardens!

I think its kinda short. But its up to you.
This is what I use. You can get a floor grate for it optional (which is awsome i might add) and keeps him clean. Its ALLOT stronger, wont bend, has a handle and you can "lock" the door with a snap. I have the smaller one like this for travel and a huge one for longer visits.
Dog.com Dog Crate Black Finish - Dog.com
Its way better quality for the money, heavy powder coated bars and you can slide the pan out just like a bird cage under the optional floor grate with out opening the door.

they dont advertise the floor grate but you can call and ask about it. Regardless of some of those reviws I have had mine for years. Took my Too back and forth to work in the small everyday and to horse events on the weekends - in the hotel I would set up the big one if we would be longer than a day. Both fold up like a suitcase.
