Look what we found

We found a listing for a King's cage on Craig's List, no demensions or picture. I decided to email about it and boy am I glad I did! It's a huge cage on a really nice stand a definate move up for Poppy !

I've been cleaning/steaming for four hours but now it's in the house and Poppy is in it.

LOL, love that cage. I have the same one for Calypso I found and repainted for $50 a few years back and just found another same model only dome top for $150 but newer i cannot wait to pick up next weekend so he has an outdoor cage too. YAY us! Do I dare ask how much you gave for it? My$50 one was a fluke and I know will never happen again, lol. but it also needed paint and some parts. The other is in like new shape i talked down from $200.

She was asking $250 but I got her down to $200, well worth it I think.

We are going to use the previous one for his outdoor cage probably.

Did you notice I said I was steam cleaning?! Yes, I finally got one, not the one I ordered, I had to cancel that (never order from I-Kitchen), but they got some in at Lowe's locally. Love it!

What a good find! I've gotten two cages off of CL myself! The first one is an HQ Flight Cage, originally bought for sugar gliders but then never used. Got it for $100 (which is how much it goes for brand new, up to $120 usually, and usually doesn't sell for less than $80, unless used/bought).

The second cage is a YML WI-40R (40x30x66 "macaw" cage) that I got for $200. I could have gotten the same cage, only 1 size smaller for the same price.... This cage is in my room, and the ONLY way to take it out is to dismantle it! It's used and came without seed guards.

I usually tell people to check CL or their local ads for good prices on cages! You never know what you just might find for a steal of a deal!
