Playgym recommendations (bottlebrush)?

Hey everyone!

I recently added an 11-year-old female Meyers Parrot to my flock (which also includes a 3-year-old female cockatiel). I currently have play areas on top of both of their cages, plus a play area in my bedroom on top of my pet rabbit's cage, and a Wingdow. Lil spends most of her time on her cage or the Wingdow...the tiel had already kinda claimed the play area in my room (it has a Java branch and a big rope perch).

I wanted to get Lily, my meyers, a bottlebrush gym from Wayne..however, he is no longer selling them online. So, now I need to find something comparable (doesn't have to be bottlebrush), and I am TOTALLY lost! I had always planned on getting a bottlebrush gym when I got a parrot, and he closed down his site literally DAYS before I found out Lil was coming home!

I've looked around and I love the Java trees, but I live in a small apartment so I need something on the smaller side. I'm not even sure where I have room for one. But I need something that will give her room to explore and forage. It also needs to have a stand (or be something that I could build a stand for).

I might look into making a gym as well, but I would really recommend any and all suggestions! Thanks!

I know! I'm so upset! I think he might be selling to local stores, he said the shipping wasn't worth it.

I wish I could get a bottlebrush gym, as I think Lily would LOVE it. I'm so sad about it!

I recently bought a bottle brush gym from Wayne (around January, I think) and wrote a review of it on my blog. I've had quite a few people leave replies or email me since then all trying to figure out how to contact Wayne b/c they really want to buy a gym but can't figure out how. He seems to have fallen off the face of the earth, for all intents and purposes. Too bad. I think his product is amazing. I'm glad I was able to get one before he stopped selling online.

You'll be selling bottlebrush gyms? Awesome! I will be waiting (though I can't promise that I'll be patient about it!).

Are you making your own, or are you a distributor for Wayne? Will they be on your Ebay site, or is there somewhere else I should be checking? Thanks!

I just got one of Wayne's gyms today. Got it from the Golden Cockatoo. I love it. My Bird still needs to "see" it for a few days before she will try getting close to it. She is a grey that needs new items to be around awhile.

Best investment I ever made. Stewie can be kind of a "fraidy bird" too, but as soon as he got on it, he was in LUV! First thing he does now when I open his cage door is fly to his bottle brush stand. Congrats on the purchase!
