I want an indoor Aviary

I'm dying to a nice indoor aviary for finches! Does anybody know where I can purchase one that will look really nice, with a plexiglass front? I've seen some around $150 made of wire, and some beautiful ones at 'Cages With Design' or something for about 3 Grand. I'm looking for something sort of middle-range price wise, preferably with a wooden frame.

I saw one that was absolutely beautiful, handmade, that took up a whole wall in someone's livingroom. I don't think my husband is talented enough with a toolbox to handle that, but it was so pretty!

3 GRAND??? yup, you can make a good one to fit just right for about 150 bucks.

Check the link Haru gave, and make sure there is plenty of access for proper cleaning. on the one i made, 90" wide, 48" tall, and 24" to the back wall. the whole front would open. there was a divider in the middle, so i could clean it half at a time. while the birds were in the other half. each half had a top door that would open upward, and a bottom door that folded down. i used plastic mesh cause wire mesh contains zinc. i didnt take any pictures of it, and i no longer have it. good luck.

Thanks for the link! I'm thinking about trying to make one like that [okay, so I'm gonna beg and bribe my husband to help me! LOL] and maybe try using plexiglass in the front and back panels with mesh on the sides for ventilation.
