Me?? More birds??? *insert most innocent face here* Oh never mind, I'll let Marti do it for me
![]() ![]() My plan for this is to honestly just save space... I've told everyone who seems to be sending rescues my way that I am not taking them in at this point unless it is a very extreme case or they agree that we will rehome them again. We all know it's hard to say no to those cute feathered faces! LOL And I'm going to laugh at you in a year or so when you're in the same boat as us LMAO ![]() I've discovered birds are like chips... ya can't have just one and you can't put the bag down till they're alllllllllll gone! |

Yeah we had some nice stackers on CL but they were gone before I saw the ad :( They were huge and would have been perfect for the amazons.
I was looking at that A&E Quad Stack cage for tiel/conure sized birds. I really like the way the bowls are set up. This one DOUBLE STACK 40"X30"X35" POWDER COATED - STACKER & BREEDER CAGES by Bird Paradise is the one I was thinking about for the zon's. People always say they chew up their cages but mine have never done it and Alfie's cage has the smallest cage bars of all our cages and we haven't had any issues. But this one says it's made for zon's... My other issue is how to work play time with stacked cages. It's always something LOL. |

those are nice cages
much heavier-duty than other stackers ive seen how would the birds feel about being that low though? in the bottom cage i mean... |

I don't think Alfie would mind... he spends a lot of time on the bottom of his and even when he is out, he sits on the seed catcher (although I think this is just to make me have to clean poop off of it more often). We don't have big dogs that would scare them on bottom (we have a peke and a poodle) and both totally ignore the birds. Well, Emmett pays attention to them if they get on the floor he cries like a baby until I pick them back up LOL. That is a good point to consider though. I don't think Pedro would mind either since her cage sits on the floor now.

I have that double stack and I like it alot. I need to put some kind of light fixture down low for the winter as it is so dark unless its infront of a window which it cannot be right now.
