Enough stuff? Planning cage and perch order

Anyone mind checking my shopping list? It's for my GCC who's been living in a small parakeet cage (cragislist rehome).

- HQ Flight Cage - Any color suggestions btw? I'm having trouble choosing. My apartment color scheme is mostly blues and greens right now, but I was thinking of getting the charcoal cage. I don't think I like white.

- Hook On Stainless Steel Coop Cup 5 oz She doesn't seem to be the sort who flips her food dishes, so I wasn't planning on buying anything that locks to replace the ones the cage comes with. Should I invest in locking dishes? Can you recommend any that this site sells? I also wasn't going to get a water bottle... Another stupid mistake?

- 6 inch Alder Branch perch

- Booda Comfy Rope Bird Perch - Small - 32"

- Ladder: 11 Rung 18"L x 5 3/4" W 1/2" Thick Rungs

- Parrotopia Sandy Perch for Bird and Parrot Cages - Bolt On Sandy Perch:
Small: 12" long x 3/4" to 1" thick

- Prevue Pet Snuggle Huts for Birds Parrots: Small

- Small Prevue Pet Patio Sun Deck Platform for Bird Parrot Cages

- Penn Plax Rope Wreath Ring Swing Pacifier Bird Toy for Parrots - Medium 10" Shaggy Halo. I've tried to convince myself not to get this but she loves preening and rope so much and it looks so comfortable!

- 18" x 3/8" - 5/8" Manzanita Perch

- 1/2" (want to try making a boing) and 7/32" Natural Cotton Rope. And leather thongs. And all sorts of toys and toy parts.

- ZuPreem Avian Maintenance For Caged Birds and Parrots - Natural Diet. Hesitating between this and staying with the fruit blend, which she readily eats and seems to love even though she was only fed seed before. I'm not a huge fan of the fact that her poop stains because of the food coloring.

This is more money than I meant to spend but I've been going over the list these past few days and can't seem to justify getting rid of any of it without being meanly cheap.

I have the same snuggle hut for my GCC. I have the 10" and Shadow fits in it just fine. Of course he/she seems a little bit chunky to me.

Yeah, I think I do like the look of darker cages. I guess I'll browse around for pictures of other people's cages and see what I like the look of best.

Hm. To be on the safe side, I guess I'll get the bigger size. I was having trouble deciding which to get.

I'm so nervous to spend this much money all at once! It feels weird.

Don't worry, the nervousness will soon fade into the inevitable addiction to birdy toy buying! Speaking of that, I haven't bought any more toys for MY fids today! sorry, gotta go....gotta buy toys!!! Toys toys toys toys toys! aaaahhhhhh! ROFLOL!

I have that cage in charcoal and I like it a lot. The color isn't too dark but it's not too bright either and it hides dirt well, lol. Here's a pic of it.

It used to be Monty's cage but I put the keets in it. The second picture of Monty you can see the color of the cage better.

lol! Yeah, I know it'll happen. Hopefully I'll get into making toys though! I go through craft phases so maybe bird toys will be my next one. I've already started trying to find wicker baskets online to use as impromptu play stands for her, like when she's on my desk and picking keys off my laptop.

Thank you! The brown looks awesome! I wouldn't have picked it without having seen it but I actually really like it.

The charcoal looks great too! I'll have to think about this.

I would suggest a dye-free pellet if you can get your GC to eat that... or even better, go with TOP's, Foundation Formula Original, or Harrison's...
