I Build Cages!Aviaries!
That's right folks I build cages for outdoor use, even for indoor use. I am an unemployed Union Pipefitter just lookin for something to do and maybe make a little money while I am at it. I mainly make my cages out of 1'' square tube steel and use either SS or GAW 1'' wire (holds up well to my B&G) just get me your design with demensions and I will gladly build it for you. the stainless steel wire will have to be ordered so it will take longer. larger cages will rewuire me to make them in panels....no problem. I weld the tubing together and clean and primer them, then I paint them with non toxic paint, I also trust in GAW wire for my birds but I will not be welding the wire to the frames due to the fact that I am not wild about heating up GAW wire, it is probably ok as long as I cleam the welds and paint them really well. *perk* custom cages for a fair price? Sounds like what I've been looking for!
Ditto on the wanting to see pics of some of your stuff...also, do you believe you can make a divided cage that isn't ridiculously space consuming? I've been wanting to move my sun and dusky in cage together but I honestly think a divided one would make all of us happier (them less stressed and still having their own space and me because it's less cages to deal with) I also want to upgrade etty once he achieves his balance well enough that he'll want to explore a more roomy environment. Will definitely be contacted you about this...maybe within the month. Lots of things going on this month!
