Cast Your Vote!

Still looking for a cage for Cougar she's a Jardine's Parrot. I need you guys to help. Alright here are the candidates. If you have any other suggestions let me know. Remember I do have space, price restrictions so nothing too over the top ($250 is kinda max). I really would like stainless steel bowls, since everyone else has them and they are easier to work with, put in the dishwasher, etc. Also, I like the swing out doors if I needed someone else to care for her for a little while. OK, here are the cages I'm looking at:

Cage #1: Lihue Landing™ Dometop28" x 20" x 60"September Special!: BIRDCAGES4LESS.com
It even has a Jardine's in the picture! AND free shipping!

Cage #2: HQ Bird Cage Parakeet - Presented by BirdsComfort.com
A little smaller, but I think it would be alright for Cougar.

Cage #3: Parrot Cage for Small Birds with Dome Top 24"x22" HQ 90024: WindyCityParrot.com, Bird Food, Parrot Food, Parrot Cages, Aviaries, Bird & Parrot Supplies,Bird Toy

Cage #4: EZ Care Dometop Flight Cage for Small Birds | Pet Solutions
I like this one least of all, just cuz of the crock, no swinging feed doors thing.

I like the first one the most, but don't let my opinions sway you, I want to know your honest opinoins. And any other suggestions fire away!

NOT #2,3, or 4. I considered #3 for my GCC, but they said it would be too small. If it's too small for a GCC, it's too small for a Jardines. What about an HQ flight cage? Here's the link: http://www.birdscomfort.com/flight_bird_cage.html The best part about those it that that they are longer than they are wide, so you can hang LOTS of toys!!!

Avian Adventures Chiquita Dometop Bird Cage - Presented by BirdsComfort.com

Hsmoscout, stainless steel bowls, swing out doors. . .
I know about the flight, just don't think it is a good fit for my situation. Even though the price is totally right, wanted to get my baby something else. If you say NOT 3, why did you vote for it?

I know what you mean about wanting swing out doors, tough. I wouldn't want a Jardines thinking I was invading its personal space and having it bite me and the stainless steel bowls are nice and beak-proof.
I know the first one is a tad out of your price range, but how about these?

Actually she's very good about me being in her cage. Never aggressive, just wants pets! Thanks for the suggestions. Kind of want to shy away a bit about playtops considering she already has a playstand and gets to be a little tart when on top of her cage screaming and all other types of nonsense.

ok I thought the second one that I posted the link to was really nice, as it's only a few dollars more than your #5 chioce and has a little more length. They say a birds cage is only as big as it is wide.

cage number 5. I have a cage that is 24x22. I bought it for a conure but felt it was too small for him. Is there a bird fair near you that you could attend? They usually have better prices. I can't believe the price on the HQ. I have that cage. I paid 140 for it 4-5 yrs ago. I've been considering selling it for like 75 bucks.

Yeah, there is a bird fair that comes here once a month, but I really am going to limit the amount of stuff i get from there. Will probably only buy food from there, no used cages for Cougar. Just got some new info about bird disease transmission and am going to have to shell out about a grand for vetting for my guys in the near future. So, not going down that road anymore. Not really an option. Well, I guess it is, but the health of my birds is more important.

Right now she's in a cage that's 22.5 x 17 x 39 which is WAY too small for her. She climbs around a lot so I wanted something that was not overkill, since it's going to be in my livingroom in my apartment, but will provide her with a good amount of space to stretch her wings when she is in it. She has a play stand and does not stay in her cage all day anyway. She's actually out for the majority of the day until she falls asleep on her playstand and i have to carry her and put her to bed. Was looking for a 32 x 28, just can't really find anything in my price range. Wanted it to be pretty wide also.
