Cages

After seeing all the nice cages everyone has gotten off of CL lately I took a look. I sent a couple emails out. So these are the ones I like. What do you guys think? I am also haggling.. I don't take the price they offer on CL... they can also go lower. lol

Beautiful large metal bird cage
Extra large corner bird cage
Bird Cage
I told them that I could get it brand new for $100 so I said $50

Large Brid Cage
I do like this one

Large Bird Cage with free Conure
This one comes with a conure..lol that is crazy

I am still looking to get the flight cage from birdscomfort.com but I just want to make sure I can't get a bigger better cage for the same price or less. I like bargain shopping

This is for Abbey, right? They all look decent but keep in mind bar spacing. Like, the giant ones are usually intended for much larger birds, so the bar spacing is going to be way too big for her.

I love how it's a cage with a free conure. New twist on an old favorite?

It is for Abbey. I think 1/2 inch should be fine for her. What do you guys think? I sent emails asking what the spacing is.

Yup! 1/2 is the max. you can do 5/8ths too. No more than 1/2 though. No one wants a stuck conure o.0

Or just an escaped one. I'm pretty sure my little Karis (dusky) could pop through my BGMs current cage!

Yeh... that would be bad. I hate the cage her old owner had her in. She is only in there at night now so it is ok for now. I want her to have a large cage though. She might spend more time in it. lol

Doubtful, but you won't think twice about putting her in it. I like the flight (nice haggle BTW) and the tan one for $70. I wouldn't advise putting a Macaw in the tan one (like advised in the ad) unless it's a mini! Just make sure it doesn't have any rust on it and fits together well. Don't be afraid of telling people 'no' it's your money and you hold the power. I'd go for the flight though

I dread having to figure out what to do with my old cages. o.0

I'd stick the flight cage....I mean, none of those are bigger or better, that's for sure. Closest that comes to it seems to be that third one in the first set of links.

The one you say you like seems deceptive to me. width is much more important than height, and it seems like that one is mostly height.

Go check it out! What are the dimensions? I think I would worry that the bar spacing is too large.
