I got to see those Marvelous brand cages in person at the bird mart last weekend, and I have to say, I was impressed. They are really nice looking, and seem sturdy and functional as well. I'm picky about latches, etc and these are made very well. I love that there's horizontal bars all around as well. Let us know if you get it!

I have one of those for Tilly. It works out really well for her because she was cage bound and she feels safe on top and has even ventured out now onto playstand. Hers is 26 x 34 and is a nice size for a mini macaw or a grey. My only complaint is the snap together assembly the feeder doors could be more stable, but it is a nice size and design for birds to perch on the outside and plenty of playroom inside.

I love play top cages. I didnt get one initially and still dont have one because I figured they play top would be useless but now I kick myself for not having one. Its so nice to be built into the cage!! Especially for birds like my Oliver and Emi who just want to hang out on their cage and nowhere else.

I actually prefer a solid top with the playtop above so the poop doesn't fall down into the cage and on the toys and perches. Some people don't like them because they're darker, but we have plenty of light here in the tropics, and it's not an issue. My Grey loves his playtop with boing and branches, spends a lot of time up there.

That one is only 22x17 which is the same dimensions as the cage he is already in (which was Meadows cage, but she got downgraded to a crappy parakeet cage when we go Bijou because his cage was too terrible to even use). But the cage I was looking at is only $259, so that's better than $305.

This one seems nice. HQ Medium Arch Bird Cage - Presented by BirdsComfort.com

It's a little bit bigger overall than the one I have now, but the space is used better since it is wider but shorter.

Yeah, I like the pricing on the flight cage and the fact that it is so big for so little, but I just hate that it doesn't have separate feeder doors. I am so spoiled by that feature that I am wary of getting a cage without them.
