Smile Help choosing appropriate cage for WB Caique

Hello, I have a new white belly caique. I'm looking at either the Chiquita or Mediana cage made by Avian Adventure. I'm asking for advise in choosing either one. I know most books and people say the larger the better. I'm just not sure if the bar spacing may be too big on the Mediana cage. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

How about an easily accessible click-on link to make the job of helping you easier on some of us lazier/busier members.

Yes, the larger the better is what is best in most bird keeper's correct opinions. 5/8" is probably the widest spacing you want to safely use for a Caique.

Now if you think that you might come down with MBS eventually, then just buy a roll of GAW wire or S.S. wire now and tools for joining together. That way you will save a lot of greenbacks down the road.

I'd think either of those would work. I have 2 of the grey palace cages and one of the same size, but made my HQ. Personally, I MUCH prefer my HQ cage to the A & E cages. My oldest A & E cage is only just a year old, and the tray is already begun to peel and rust.
