I want an UBER cage! Help me pick one out!

Hi, I have a pretty larger Macaw (green wing) and I am looking to upgrade his cage. The one he is in now is pretty nice, but I think the bigger the better! I currently have him in something similar to this Southern Ohio Bird Fair

but I was looking at something more like this Southern Ohio Bird Fair
and taking the divider out.

Also, this looks fairly large as well Southern Ohio Bird Fair

Just another Macaw cage this dealer has. It doesn't seem that large?
Southern Ohio Bird Fair

He won't have a play top anymore though on his cage, but I am in the process of building a pvc playstand OR I might buy one they have here that's really nice. Southern Ohio Bird Fair
OR I might just get both! lol.

Thanks for looking, I hope someone can help me out!

I can recommend just the thing for you!

Have a look at the cage Mojo and Shinda share.

MOJO & SHINDA'S CAGE - a set on Flickr

It's huge and would be absolutely ideal for a Macaw!

If you look at my posts HERE you'll find links to retailers in North America (I live in the UK).

As for that playstand, I've got one of those as well! You'll find pics of it, complete with birds, in the set below.

NEW, IMPROVED PLAY AREA! - a set on Flickr

Hope that helps!

Well I was looking at Southern Ohio Bird Fair which looks just like your cage. It is also a double macaw cage.

that would be awesome, Jadie. I want a huge cage for Cookie, but the bar spacing is always too big.

Similar except my cage is a bit bigger and hasn't got curved corners at the top.

What size bar spacing do Conures need? This cage has 1cm bar spacing and is quite big.

Yea, but then again, it's $400 cheaper than the other one, but you essentially get the same cage, just slightly smaller.

THe double Macaw from Chuck at SOBF is a great value and a wonderful cage. I have two Macs with the divider out in mine and love it save for cleaning the divider part inside on the bottom. Remember if you get the, Corner cage it really only ever fits in a corner so your stuck with that. As for the playstand - I dont care for that one as it seems to small. There is one very similar that has a bigger circle but if it has wood rungs on the stairs as mine did they were destroyed asap. But can be replaced by pvc. Another Thing is If Chucks show comes anywhere near you you will pay NO SHIPPING as you can pick it up at the show - just call ahead. I can confir you will onlly do good business with him. I buy all my food and cages from Chuck.

This one does NOT have the divider thus it will be easier to clean and I would buy this if I didnt need the divider. I need it to separate my two as they are not tame enough to get out if I dont
