New- Caique Forum

We have started a build out of some niche specie websites which is CaiqueForum.com - Caique Owner Message Board White-Bellied Caique Parrot, Black-headed Caique Parrot • Index page Index page for those of you who might enjoy more specific chat topics... 6 weeks? That seems really young. Is it weaned? Hopefully someone with more experience with baby caiques will give advice. it seems awfully young to me.

That is much too young. Is the bird eating the food you have in its cage? I bet even if it was weaned (which I doubt) its regressed to the point of needing handfeeding again. Call the breeder back right away and ask them to feed the bird out until its properly weaned.

Hi,
Maybe you could help me Freedomoflight:
I tried to register on caiqueforum.com, as a new caiques' owner, but I can't see the image verification box, and then I can't get passed this page of registration. Do you know how I could do? (this "image verification" box worked here to register to birdboard...)
Thanks for your help

I had the same problem as Jean. I had tried to register there before I registered here and there was no image to verify.

6 week old caique

That is way to young. A caique should not be taken home until it is aprox 4 months old.
